Found a rod at Mansfield Dam Park this evening. I was out guiding and when we got back to the ramp I was the only truck left in the parking lot. Someone had put a rod in the back of my truck. I'm guessing that someone found it maybe in the parking lot and since my truck was the only one left they may have assumed it was my rod. If you think this may be your rod, respond with what type of rod it is, the length, and action in order to prove it's yours and I can try to arrange to get it back to ya. The rod looks like it's in perfectly fine condition and has no reel attached to it at all.

Well, no real responses on any of the places I posted this. I guess I've got a rod to decide what to do with now... Not a bad rod.

No reel, just a rod in your truck bed, sounds like somebody was donating that rod to you. I'd say it's yours now.

Sorry, just saw this. It was my rod. I didn't want/need it anymore and was getting ready to pitch it. Waylon mentioned that you might have a use for it since you do some guiding so he stuck it in your truck. Aside from being ugly, there's nothing wrong with it.

Thanks, Chuck/Waylon! I ended up deciding to sell it (which created a whole lot of hub-bub from dudes who were on their moral high-horse on "Keep Austin Fishing" on Facebook *eyeroll*), BUT since you are the ones who "donated" it, I want you guys to know that that is an extra $50 that is being donated to an organization that puts food on the table for families who are struggling to do so. In short, you put that rod in the right hands. Thanks again, guys.

Do you have the picture of the rod?
