Fished marble falls yesterday 2-12. Caught 4 crappie all day with largest weighing in at 1 pound 12 oz. on certified scale. 15 inches long. Paperwork being filed for new lake record. Caught on Dan's jig tipped with minnow. Bite has been super light all winter but they all slammed it yesterday. Thought for sure I had a bass!

All fish came from one spot in the morning and it was over. Could not find any other takers. IMG_20160212_183642.jpg IMG_20160212_154016.jpg IMG_20160212_144041.jpg IMG_20160212_154206.jpg

I'm going to have a certified scale at my house real soon. I didn't know they had one at inks state park, that's good to know. The closest one knew of was in Granite shoals.

Having your own scale will be a nice addition for your clients. I know you have put clients on some lake records but getting to certified scale and traveling can be a hassle. It took me an extra few hours out of my day but was worth it in my opinion. Actually could have had 2 lake records that day but did not keep the channel cat I caught. No one has ever weighed in a channel cat for Lake Marble Falls.
